1. Of all the bands & artists in your collection, which one do you have the most of? Tori Amos, according to WinAmp, I have 65 albums and 773 tracks. I haven’t yet managed to get my 40 bootleg tapes onto the computer.
2. What was the last song you listened to? The Last Firstborn by Celldweller.
3. What’s in your CD player right now? Celldweller’s self-titled album.
4. What is your favourite instrument? Drums
5. Who’s your favourite local band? Pink Floyd
6. What was the last concert you attended? Tori Amos in July 2007.
7. What was the greatest concert you’ve ever been to? The Tori show on 3rd July 2007.
8. What’s the worst band you’ve ever seen in concert? Mylo when they opened for Faithless. It was painful. Faithless were awesome as usual though.
9. What band do you love musically but hate the members of? I don’t think I have one…
10. What is the most musically involved you have ever been? I’m not sure what this is asking, but I have performed at music festivals and at a breakfast for a music club [both on piano]. I had voice lessons, guitar, cello and flute. I’m in a band with Weasel and Doodle. I’ve been to many, many gigs.
11. What show are you looking forward to? Heather Nova in London in October. I’m hoping I’ll be well enough to go.
12. What is your favourite band shirt? My black Nine Inch Nails! I love love love it.
13. What musician would you like to hang out with for a day? Tori Amos obviously!
14. What musician would you like to be in love with you for a day? None.
15. What was your last musical “phase” before you wizened up? I still like the music I like. My Dad ensured that I had a good musical education that would be timeless.
16. Sabbath or solo Ozzy? I don’t think I know either well enough to pick.
17. Did you know that filling out this survey makes you a music geek? Yes, but I already knew I was one.
18. What was the greatest decade for music? 1980s!
19. What is your favourite movie soundtrack? Empire Records, annoyingly though the two tracks I like the most aren’t on the official thing [How by The Cranberries and Snake Face by Throwing Muses].
20. What would you be without music? Very, very sad.
