Obviously I reference my friends and family here, but with fake names. So to help you make sense of it all:

• Weasel [b. 1980] is my wife. We’ve been together since May 1998.
• Horatio [b. 1984] is my boyfriend. We’ve been together since September 2002. The official word for what I’m doing here is polyamory, but I like to think of it as parallel monogamy.
• Fergus [b. 2004] is me and Weasel’s stuffed doggy whom I love very much. I got diagnosed with Wegener’s the same month that my dog, Bear [his silhouette is the doggy in my header] died [4000 miles away] and I was so distraught I clung to Fergus.
• Doodle [b. 1981] is Weasel’s brother. I love him to pieces. We’re in a band together, Weasel joins us on bass. We go to many gigs together and we love the same books/bands/movies so we swap all the time.
• Stoat & Mal are Weasel’s parents.
• My sisters are Blanket Girl [b. 1976] and Chance [b. 1979].
• My two nieces are call Socks [ b. 1996] and Shoes [b. 2001].
• Ralph, Eleanor, Robin, Wanda & Alex are my work colleagues. Note that I was referring to them as R, E, R2, W & A before and none of this matters now since I stopped working in October 2007 and the company folded in 2008. Bernard is the dog at work [belongs to Ralph & Wanda].
